Mindfulness in College

At Mindful Boston, our adult learners are sometimes in school, sometimes not. The internships and volunteer jobs we offer at our organization are popular with college students, but we don’t specialize in teaching college-aged learners. In Boston, most college learners already have access to meditation on their campus and the course fees are included in their school tuition. Especially Harvard University and MIT have extensive mindfulness departments.

In addition to campus meditation options, The Koru Mindfulness Center https://korumindfulness.org specializes in college-age people.

  • Koru Mindfulness® is an evidence-based curriculum specifically designed for teaching mindfulness, meditation, and stress management to college students and other young adults. The Koru Mindfulness program was developed over the course of a decade by psychiatrists Holly Rogers, MD & Margaret Maytan, MD to bring the benefits of mindfulness to the college students they worked with at Duke University’s student counseling center.
