Retreats

Let’s meditate at the beach!

Also, quarterly retreats reinforce your mindful awareness skills.

That means that you get fun, friendship, and learning all in one place.

August

Summer
Extended-Practice Workshop
On Cape Cod

On the 3rd Wednesday of August, stop by our campground site in Eastham MA for tent-side meditations. (This year: 08/20/25)

Mindful Beacon members have an extended practice period from 12pm-2pm. There’s options to arrive early for a brown bag lunch & learn. If you’re vacationing in the area, we’ll plan for a campfire and mindful mini-golf during our retreat.

We hold this event on a Wednesday because Provincetown’s Carnival Parade happens on a Thursday.

November

Fall: Black Friday
Extended-Practice Workshop
Arlington MA

The day after Thanksgiving, spend the morning of Black Friday meditating in a sanctuary. (This year: 11/28/25)

Mindful Beacon members have an extended practice from 10am to 12pm. And then, there’s options to stay for a brown bag lunch & learn.

When gathering together for meditation, it’s useful to have an initial signal
to hone in on.

A meditation practice starts with a bell.
Our studio of practice starts with the radio station.

And then, the process of deepening mindfulness practice is a quieting process that
eventually leads to a healing silence.
