About Us
Studio MBZ1 offers accountability-buddy gatherings for mindfulness practitioners.
The framework is a seasonal calendar of quarterly retreats and monthly meetings.
Audio is recorded during studio gatherings and broadcast over the online radio station as a light support for continued daily practice through the seasons.
Producer, Gena Bean, is the magnetizing force behind these gatherings.
Having Tea Together
Sipping a cup of tea takes a minute. And ‘taking a minute’ with each other helps a mindfulness practice to unfold.
If you come to our office in Cambridge, you will be offered a literal cup of tea.
But there are metaphorical ways to have tea together these days, especially with online connections. Inviting you to “have a cup of tea” can be a way of saying that we want to have a connection, a conversation.
Keeping good company is essential to a meditation journey.
Peers doing this work side by side provide an essential form of sounding-board.
The importance of fellow meditators for your journey cannot be overestimated.
