Description:

Laboratory sessions, workshops, and classroom are best live and in-person, of course!
So please attend all of them that you can.

And yet, it’s nice to have an audio recording for a refresher or for a make-up in addition to the in-person learning.

Therefore, live events are sometimes recorded and put into podcast form. This Reviewbook is designed to be a distribution platform for members-only content.

Big updates are usually posted every three months (quarterly). Smaller edits are updated after each members’ lab and classroom.

Once the recordings are edited, you will get a link sent out to you in the Thursday Lab Notes emails, and also the podcasts will be posted here in the Reviewbook.

The Reviewbook is an archive of podcasts, lab notes and teaching resources.

  • As the seasons progress, Mindful Boston adds new lessons. You will find guided meditations and links to the calendar page as you scroll through your Reviewbook..

You can check this page regularly, if you would like.

And also, you will get email reminders on Thursdays.

  • Most Thursdays, you will get an email called “Lab Notes.” The email lab notes are a short reminder to practice.

That email will also be your notification that there’s a new ingredient in this soup pot of mindful learning.

  • Some members only want the email. That’s fine.

Some members only want a homepage for their content. That’s fine too.

You have both options. Use them as you like.

The Reviewbook contains all the same podcast links, but also gives you additional content.

  • Option 1: send an email directly to genabean@gmail.com
Option 1: Use the comments section on any email or blog to check in about that topic.

Chapters of Study

For our purposes, the members’ Reviewbook is considered a yearly “course” of study. You can click on monthly “lessons” that are divided by quarterly chapters. Since we can have podcasts, videos, notes and graphs in each lesson, it’s a useful construct.

At first, it might take a moment to learn how to navigate each lesson and chapter, but it’s worth the effort. Feel free to ask Gena for tech support as you are learning.

Your First Navigation Lesson:

The screenshot has been marked with a green #1 and a green arrow.

When you are inside of any “lesson” page, the words Quarterly Reviewbook Homepage will be at the top, indicated by that green arrow.

(If you’re on a phone, look for 3-dot-dashes within an aqua-colored bar, at the bottom.)

Click on that word Homepage and it will bring you back to the course overview homepage. The homepage shows you all possible lessons for the whole Reviewbook. That’s where you pick and choose what content/lessons you want to peruse next.

Navigation #2

And then…

See the button (#2) on the right? It is shown in RED and says “Complete & Continue”?

Click on that button to move on to the next lesson on the course list.

In real life, it is actually yellow.

Your first lesson is complete!

You can now click the yellow “Complete&Continue” button at the bottom of the page for real. 8)

Please play with this new Mindful Boston site.

See you at the next members meeting!

The content in this studio Reviewbook is for paid members. Please respect that.

Our studio policy about passwords is admittedly lax. This is because we don’t believe it’s possible to steal mindfulness.

If you are going to use the resources within this Reviewbook, make sure that your membership fees are up to date, or request a scholarship, or limit yourself to using only the free content that is included with the free Guest Pass. Thanks.
